As a designer, I guess a self portrait doesn't have to be an actual painting, drawing or sketch of a person. I feel I am person that likes conciseness and precision, so sometimes it actually is hard for me to step out of my comfort zone.
For my self "portrait" I drew a set of geometric buildings and how as a single person, I am insignificant compared to them. It just goes to show that as a designer, my interpretation of myself is insignificance compared to others aka the buildings.

The shapes and the different layers of this drawing really brings out something proprietary about you. I can definitely see the way you can reflect on this drawing with all the lines and shading
ReplyDeleteNice! This looks like a futuristic landscape.
ReplyDeleteWhat are your goals for this class?
My goals for this class are to learn learn about creativity, be more accepting of my own ideas, and (a new found goal) is to let myself be a little more free about my art.
